Requirements: –
- Perform racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning of Data Center Hardware devices.
- Perform break-fix support (e.g. power cycles, physical environment, and cabling inspections, swap out failed components, hardware upgrades, testing of copper and fibre cables, handling storage media etc.).
- Able to install components to server and networking devices such as memory, SSDs, CPU, expansion cards, modules and so forth.
- Perform cross-connect patching and labelling per standard methodologies.
- Handle tickets for local support and implementation purposes and perform tasks as detailed in MOP.
- Maintains inventory, labelling of equipment and removal of decommissioned hardware.
- Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work.
- Knowledge of assembling, deploying, and solving Network and Server hardware
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
